Rhinocort is a glucocorticoid medical product indicated for the treatment of the allergic rhinitis. It provides an anti-inflammatory, antiallergic and immunosuppressive action. The active components of the drug reduce the inflammatory exudation, slow down the release of the mediators of the inflammation, and this plays an essential role in the appearance of the nasal symptoms of the allergic genesis and development of the chronic rhinitis. Also, the drug slows down the release of the arachidonic acid which affects the appearance of the allergic reaction and relapses of the disease.

Rhinocort is well tolerated during the long-term treatment and does not cause the physical addiction. The therapeutic effect develops in 2-21 days and completely removes the symptoms of the disease and temporarily protects from their repeated appearance.

Directions for the use:

- vasomotor rhinitis

- prevention of the growth of nasal polyp

- non-infectious inflammatory processes in the cavity of the nose

- Rhinocort is indicated for the intranasal introduction and does not require the prescription usage.

- To treat rhinitis the patients are prescribed 2 doses (50 mg) per each nasal passage 2 times a day

- In case of the severe forms of the disease the frequency of the use will be increased up to 3 times per day
