Dr.VIVEK.U is currently working as a consultant in Neuroanesthesia and intensive care unit, wherein he provides anesthesia for patients undergoing complex brain and spinal cord surgeries. He is also involved in the perioperative care of these patients

 

 

Experience

  • Dr.VIVEK.U is currently working as a consultant in Neuroanesthesia and intensive care .
  • Has experience in providing anesthesia for intracranial tumor excisions, cerebrovascularsurgeries, pediatricneurosurgeries, interventional and non invasive neuroradiological procedures, evacuation of intracranial hematomas,various kinds of spine surgeries such as discectomy,laminectomy,disc replacement and spinal fusion procedures.
  • Is well versed with perioperative neurophysiological monitoring.
  • He is also involved in the perioperative care of these patients and in managing traumatic brain injuries in the ICU.
  • Experienced in various ICU procedures such as invasive monitoring, percutaneous tracheostomy,fibre-optic intubations,inter-costal drain placement ,ventilatory care and in managing difficult airway.
  • Is involved in providing regional and central neuraxial blocks and perioperative pain management.
